International Financial Relations, Liquidity and Remuneration Division

The Division is responsible for negotiating and coordinating international financial regulation of e.g. credit institutions, insurance and pension companies as well as capital markets.  The Division is also responsible for the following tasks: 

  • Coordinating the Danish FSA’s service of the Minister on international matters
  • Performing the Danish FSA’s tasks in relation to the EU Special Committee on the Financial Sector.


At international level, the Division participates in meetings of EU-level 2 committees such as the EBC, the EFCC, the ESC and the EIOPC.


 

Expertise centre for remuneration in financial undertakings, etc.

This Division is also an expertise centre for remuneration policy and is responsible for:

  • Supervising remuneration regulations for financial undertakings, financial holding companies, Arbejdsmarkedets Tillægspension and LD pensions
  • Interpreting remuneration regulations, including in relation to international standards from the CEBS (EBA), etc.


 

Expertise centre for the liquidity of credit institutions

Finally, the Division is an expertise centre for cross-sectoral liquidity analysis and is thus responsible for:

  • Preparing cross-sectoral liquidity analyses and analyses of specific institutions
  • Interpreting section 71, Annex 4 of the Financial Business Act on operational liquidity management in credit institutions.
