Financial Reporting Division

The Division supervises that financial undertakings comply with the current accounting regulations (financial reporting enforcement activities). In relation to financial undertakings which are admitted for trading on a regulated market, the Division manages this task as secretariat for the Danish Securities Council.

The Division is also responsible for supervising audit-related provisions in financial undertakings.

At international level, the Division participates in meetings in the three supervisory committees for banks, insurance and securities markets in working groups that address accounting regulations, financial reporting enforcement activities and audit-related matters.

 

Expertise centre for accounting regulations and taxes

This Division is an expertise centre for accounting regulations and taxes, respectively, and is responsible for:

• Answering internal and external questions about accounting regulations
• Maintaining Danish accounting regulations for financial undertakings
• Sending out information letters about accounting regulations to financial undertakings.
