Warning against Tortola Capital

Public warning

The Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission (CBFA) warns the public against the activities of Tortola Capital(www.tortolacapital.com), which is contacting Belgian investors with a view to offering investment services.

Tortola Capital claims to be a firm with its registered office in the British Virgin Islands at PO Box 2396, Road Town, and claims to have offices in Hungary at D épület, Gábor Dénes, 1117 Budapest and in the Bahamas at 68 South Service Road, Suite 2167, Nassau. It does not have the authorization in Belgium necessary to offer investment services in or from Belgium.

The CBFA thus advises the public against responding to any offers of investment services made in the name of Tortola Capital and against transferring money to any account number they might mention.
