Ingen af disse selskaber har tilladelse fra hverken Finanstilsynet eller den engelske tilsynsmyndighed Financial Services Authority (FSA) til at drive aktiviteter, der omfattet af lov om finansiel virksomhed.

Star Assurance Limited er et forsikringsselskab med domicil i Ghana. Ifølge selskabets hjemmeside driver det ikke forretning uden for Afrika.

Finanstilsynet udsendte i oktober 2005 en advarsel om, at Radius Assurance Limited og Radius Guarantees Limited, Købmagergade 2, 6. København, ikke havde tilladelse til at drive finansiel virksomhed hverken fra Finanstilsynet eller den engelske tilsynsmyndighed Financial Services Authority (FSA). None of these companies are authorised by DFSA to carry on any activities that are regulated by the Financial Business Act.

The Financial Services Authority in UK has informed the DFSA that the companies are not authorised to do insurance business in UK either.

Star Assurance Limited is an insurance company domiciled in Ghana. According to the home page of the company it operates in Africa only.

If you hold a policy with STAR Assurance Limited you do not have insurance cover and you should arrange valid insurance.

Last October DFSA sent a comsumer warning against Radius Assurance Limited and Radius Guarantees Limited. The responsible person for these companies was the same person
