AdvarselFinanstilsynet har modtaget flere henvendelser fra offentligheden vedrørende virksomheden Offshore Consult Ltd. (http://www.offshoreconsult.dk).

Finanstilsynet har pålagt Offshore Consult Ltd., at fjerne annonceringen efter indlån på deres hjemmeside. Af dennes hjemmeside fremgik bl.a. at virksomheden modtager indlån, der placeres i udenlandske pengeinstitutter og administreres udenfor Danmarks grænser.

Offshore Consult Ltd. har efterfølgende fjernet annonceringen fra deres hjemmeside og henviser i stedet til hjemmesiden www.scandicard.com, som henvender sig til danske kunder og annoncere efter indlån.

Hverken Offshore Consult Ltd. eller de udenlandske samarbejdspartnere har den nødvendige tilladelse til at drive pengeinstitutvirksomhed i Danmark og er ikke under tilsyn af Finanstilsynet.

Vælg "Kreditinstitutområdet" for at se, hvilke pengeinstitutter der har tilladelse til at udøve pengeinstitutvirksomhed i Danmark, eller "Fondsmæglerområdet" for at se hvilke fondsmæglerselskaber der har tilladelse til at drive fondsmæglervirksomhed i Danmark.

The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority's attention has been directed towards a firm named Offshore Consult Ltd. (http://www.offshoreconsult.dk).

The Danish FSA have ordered Offshore Consult Ltd. to remove their announcement for deposits on their website. According to the website the firm receives deposits from the public.

Offshore Consult Ltd. has followed the orders from the Danish FSA but refers to another webpage www.scandicard.com  that approaches Danish customers for deposits.

Neither Offshore Consult Ltd. nor the firm's foreign correspondents have the needed authorisation from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority to carry out credit institution activities in Denmark and are not under supervision by the Danish Supervisory Authority.

Choose "Credit institution area" to see which commercial banks and savings banks that have authorisation from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority to carry out credit institution activities in Denmark or choose "Investment company area" to see which companies that have been authorized by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority to carry out investment company activities.
