Finanstilsynet har modtaget en henvendelse fra offentligheden vedrørende Danish Bankers Trust ApS (http://www.dbtbank.com). Af hjemmesiden fremgår bl.a. at virksomheden modtager indlån, der placeres i en investeringsportefølje, der administreres udenfor Danmarks grænser.
 
Danish Bankers Trust ApS har hverken tilladelse i medfør af § 7 i lov om finansiel virksomhed til at udøve pengeinstitutvirksomhed, eller tilladelse efter § 9 til at udøve værdipapirhandelsaktiviteter m.v. Virksomheden er således ikke under tilsyn af Finanstilsynet.
