Warning against Rothman Securities and Rothman Offshore

Finanstilsynet (The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) warns against investment offers promoted by Rothman Securities and Rothman Offshore.

Finanstilsynet has been informed that Rothman Securities and Rothman Offshore (address: Level 8 St. James House, Danes Road, Manchester, United Kingdom) has approached Norwegian investors offering investment services. The companies also offers services from a website http://rothmanoffshore.com.

Finanstilsynet wishes to make it clear that Rothman Securities and Rothman Offshore is not authorised to provide investment services in Norway, and therefore lacks the licence required under Norwegian law. The companies are consequently not subject to Finanstilsynet’s supervisory oversight, nor has Finanstilsynet approved the services offered by the companies. Finanstilsynet therefore recommends investors not to enter into agreements with or transfer assets to Rothman Securities and Rothman Offshore.
