Kredittilsynet (The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) warns against banking services marketed by Nor Finans

Kredittilsynet has been informed that Nor Finans has contacted Norwegian customers by SMS offering 10.35% interest on bank deposits. The company also offers services from the website
http://www.nor-finans.com.

Nor Finans is not authorised to provide banking services in Norway, and is therefore not licenced to accept deposits required under Norwegian law. The company is not under Kredittilsynet's supervision, nor has Kredittilsynet approved the services offered by the company. Nor Finans is not a member of the Norwegian Deposit Guarantee Scheme.

Kredittilsynet recommends customers and investors not to enter into agreements with or transfer assets to Nor Finans.
