Kredittilsynet (The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) warns against investment offers promoted by Finanstjenester

Kredittilsynet has been informed that Finanstjenester has approached Norwegian investors by SMS offering 8,5 % interest on bank deposits. The company also offers services from a website www.finanstjenester.net

Kredittilsynet wishes to make it clear that Finanstjenester is not a credit institution authorised to provide banking services in Norway, and therefore lacks the licence to accept deposits required under Norwegian law. The company is consequently not subject to Kredittilsynet’s supervisory oversight, nor has Kredittilsynet approved the services offered by the company. The company is therefore not connected to the Norwegian Deposit Guarantee Scheme. Kredittilsynet therefore recommends investors not to enter into agreements with or transfer assets to Finanstjenester.
