Kredittilsynet (The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) warns against investment offers marketed by Tanaka Securities Inc.

Kredittilsynet has received information that representatives of a company called Tanaka Securities Inc. unsolicited have approached investors in Norway offering to provide investment services. The company has a webpage (www.tanasecure.com) where it claims to have a business address in Japan (1-40-4 Kamiosaki, Minato-ku, Tokyo 105-0011, Japan).

According to the Norwegian Securities Trading Act section 7-8, institutions with a head office outside the EEA, cannot promote or offer to provide investment services in Norway without a specific authorisation.

Tanaka Securities Inc. does not have authorization from Kredittilsynet in accordance with the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
