Kredittilsynet (The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) warns against investment offers marketed by Artemis Financial

Kredittilsynet has been informed that Artemis Financial (address: 1146 Budapest, Mimoza utca 14, Hungary) has contacted Norwegian investors and tried to sell shares. In return, the investors must, among other things, pay a fee in advance in order to receive the shares. The company also offers services from the website www.artemis-financial.com.

Kredittilsynet informs that Artemis Financial has not received any approval to perform investment services in Norway, involving that the company does not have necessary authorisation in accordance with Norwegian law. This also involves that Kredittilsynet does not supervise the company and has not approved the services offered by the company. Kredittilsynet therefore recommends that investors do not enter into agreements or transfer values to Artemis Financial.

Kredittilsynet’s registry contains information on all companies which are authorized to offer investment services in Norway. A list (not complete), of parties in the market which operate without approval, can also be found on Kredittilsynet’s website.
