Warning against Laura Southwell and SWISS INVEST Ltd in Slovenia

For your information Slovene Securities Market Agency has sent out this warning today: 22/3/2006.

The Slovene Securities Market Agency (in further text Agency) has recently become aware of an e-mail received by investors. The e-mail seems to be sent on behalf of the firm Swiss Invest Ltd by its representative Laura Southwell and gives the contact information available at info@swis-invest.com

The company claims to be a specialist in services of purchase and sale, privatisation, brokerage and dealer transactions on stock exchange, handling a wide range of investment instruments on equity market. The company issues e-mails in attempt to attract individuals for business cooperation in search of new clients, offering a high percent commission for collecting payments from clients.

Swiss Invest Ltd has not obtained the Agency’s authorisation according to Securities Market Act to carry out services in the securities field in Slovenia and until issuing this warning the Agency has not received any documentation in order to acquire that authorization.

According to the information that the Agency has obtained, the firm and its representative have been put on several Job-scam and financial fraud lists in different countries.

The Agency strongly urges investors considering dealing with the above entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
