Varning för Kirkland Group Associates

Företaget Kirkland Group har inte tillstånd från Finansinspektionen att bedriva värdepappersrörelse eller annan reglerad finansiell verksamhet i Sverige, och står alltså inte under FI:s tillsyn.

Representanter för Kirkland Group Associates värvar per telefon investerare i Sverige. Företaget presenteras på hemsidor (kirklandgroupassociates.com) utan att det anges något kontor eller någon adress i Sverige. Företaget uppger en adress 125 Baxter St. New York, NY 10013-3603.

Enligt nyligen inkomna uppgifter har representanter för bolaget erbjudit att köpa kundens aktier i bolaget Soccer Direct International Limited. Kunden erbjuds att sälja sina aktier till ett mycket högt pris. Kunden ska dock i förskott betala en avgift ("Performance Deposit") för att affären ska kunna genomföras. Detta är ett s.k. avgiftsbedrägeri (Advance Fee Fraud).

Warning for Kirkland Group Associates

Kirkland Group Associates is not authorised by Finansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority) and therefore not entitled to provide regulated financial services.

The company has a website, (kirklandgroupassociates.com), where it claims to have an address in 125 Baxter St. New York, NY 10013-3603.

Finansinspektionen has received complaints about Kirkland Group Associates who has approached investors in Sweden by telephone. Kirkland Group Associates offers the investor, on behalf of a client, to buy the investor’s shares in the company Soccer Direct International Limited.

The investor is offered a very high price for the shares. But, the investor has to pay a "Performance Deposit" in advance to close the transaction. It is a matter of Advance Fee Fraud.
