AMF ISSUES A FRESH WARNING ABOUT AN ILLEGAL AND POTENTIALLY MISLEADING INVESTMENT PROPOSAL FROM AKZENTA

The French securities regulator, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), is warning the public about investment proposals made by Akzenta SA.

Among other things, this company offers to share a percentage of its sales with its "commercial partners" in exchange for an initial investment of at least €25,000.

This proposal, presented on the company's website (www.akzenta.org), is equivalent to an illegal direct marketing practice. The AMF has received no authorisation request for the proposal, which may also contravene Articles L. 550-1 and L. 550-3 of the Financial and Monetary Code (Miscellaneous Property Intermediaries).

The AMF has forwarded this information to the prosecuting authorities in Strasbourg.

The AMF recalls that its Enforcement Committee issued a sanction decision against Akzenta SA's parent, Akzenta AG, on 1 December 2005 in connection with a similar investment proposal.
